We at LeedsBookClub are eagerly awaiting the new film version of The Great Gatsby – arguably our most successful book club choice so far (read our review here)!
Directed by Baz Luhrmann (the genius behind some of my favourite films – including The Red Curtain Trilogy – Strictly Ballroom, Romeo + Juliet and Moulin Rouge), the film will feature – to name a few – the following stars:

- Tobey Maguire as Nick Carraway
- Carey Mulligan as Daisy Buchanan
- Joel Edgerton as Tom Buchanan
- Isla Fisher as Myrtle Wilson
- Elizabeth Debicki as Jordan Baker
