We are aware that scammers are continuing to actively impersonate Leeds Book Club to target authors. They are using Gmail accounts to falsely represent our little book club. 

If you receive a message from ‘Hannah’ the organizer (note American spelling), this is NOT a genuine communication. 

Currently, the official email for us is leedsbookclub@ gmail.com but I will be using a domain enabled one going forward. 

If you receive a suspicious email, please let me know and if possible report the email address to Gmail (three dots next to reply; report phishing). 

These emails can also be reported to the National Cyber Security Centre in the UK) or the FBI’s crime complaint centre at ic3.gov
