So it turns out, I really *believe* in parliamentary democracy.
And when that is threatened, it’s important to raise your voice.

Black prince, Yorkshire flag, EU flag, hope
Which is what Leeds did – beautifully – this evening.
Tonight’s protest was primarily a Green and Lib Dem event – Labour will be protesting on Saturday.
Which – FFS – IS RIDICULOUS! BREXIT WILL NEVER BE STOPPED OR REVOKED IF THE REMAIN GROUPS CANT WORK TOGETHER. YOU SHOWER OF ABSOLUTE SHITES.

Thankfully MP AlexSobel was there to ensure that Labour were at least represented.
And the speakers were varied and great. We (LBCers) were particularly impressed by the speaker who said that it was particularly important that we stay informed, that we read up.
Leading @monkeyson to start quietly chanting ‘Read a book! Read a book!‘
Which was probably my highlight of the day!
Here we are
Not pictured was maths-jam Hannah who kept us company (but arrived during the speeches so missed the photo op).
And the signs were mighty and awesome
Two Irish/Northern Irish ladies made these signs…

The ‘no soldiers’ one might be my favourite

But this one is clearly the best 😊
