POEM – At Bridget’s Well – Doireann Ní Ghríofa

My mum sent this onto me this morning and I think it’s absolutely magical!

To celebrate St. Brigid’s Day 2021, the Department of Foreign Affairs and MoLI – Museum of Literature Ireland, have collaborated on ‘Three Poems for Brigid’, a series of three short online films.

Each film showcases a poet and a spoken word performer, and is based around one of the three aspects of Brigid as the triple goddess of Poetry, Healing, and Craftwork.

At Bridget’s Well is written by poet Doireann Ní Ghríofa and read by Osaro Azams.

Music by Syn, Full Moon, Gash Collective.

Artists featured in At Bridget’s Well Film are Osaro Azams, India Mullen, Olwen Fouéré, Ailbhe Ní Bhriain, Felicia Olusanya, Martha Knight, Clare Langan, Anne Enright, Alice Maher, Doireann Ní Ghríofa.
